StrumDiddle is 3rd generation web app to show off complex webskills, fancy guitar work and to teach music over the Web. We use Silverlight to build the music application and WordPress as a wrapper for it. The latest posted version is The App.

It can do everything that Flash can do and a lot more
This application was written in C# with a XAML front end
The music notation is coded in XML and I use a customized version of MusicXML
As our demo system we did 3 Christmas carols and you can see this at Version1.0. They are all fingerpicking tunes and Silent Night is very easy if you are a beginner. The other two tunes are more challenging. For all the tunes we show the regular notation and the guitar tablature.
The notation in Version1.0 was very weak and we are now moving on to a much improved current version.
